About The Chattanooga Track Club

Founded in 1970, the Chattanooga Track Club (CTC) is a non-profit organization with the goal of promoting running, walking, and general fitness in the Chattanooga area. The club pursues this goal through a number of activities including weekly group runs, annual road races, youth programs, and social events.

Each year CTC produces a number of races, including the Scenic City Half Marathon, Chickamauga Chase, the Chattanooga Waterfront Triathlon, the Missionary Ridge Road Race, and the Chickamauga Battlefield Marathon & Half Marathon.

The Chattanooga Track Club is a member of the Road Runners Club of America.

The mission is to stimulate interest in running and fitness for all ages and to promote wellness through these activities. The club encourages anyone with similar interests to become a member and support our goal.

No special qualifications, other than an interest in running and fitness, are required. Members can choose their own level of involvement: participant, volunteer, or sponsor. Everyone, from serious competitor to the casual walker, is welcome.
