Directions
From Downtown Chattanooga
From downtown Chattanooga, you should allow approximately 35 minutes driving time.
The best route from downtown Chattanooga is from I-24 take the Rossville Boulevard exit south to Rossville Boulevard, US 27. This road becomes Lafayette Road and leads into the Park.
The distance from I-24 to the entrance of the Park is approximately 6.1 miles.
Traveling North or South on I-75
From I-75 (about 5 miles south of Chattanooga) take the Battlefield Parkway Exit 350 (Hwy 2A) headed WEST for about 6.2 miles. Turn left, SOUTH, onto Lafayette Road for about 1 mile and enter the Park.
Entering the Park
As you enter the Park, please watch for event signage along the roadside. These signs will direct you to event Parking & Start. Please obey all traffic signs, speed limits, and Park Rangers! As you get near to the Parking & Start area, Park Rangers and volunteers will direct you to your parking spot in the Recreation Field near the Wilder Tower. After you park, walk to the event staging area in the field below the Wilder Tower, approximately .4 miles or a 10 minute walk.
