The Chickamauga Chase wants YOU!
Great events like The Chickamauga Chase can't happen without the tremendous support of dozens of volunteers. Each year nearly 100 people volunteer their time for a fun Saturday morning in the Battlefield.
Jobs range from registration, course sentries, water stops, and food and beverage distribution. We can put you to work in your preference and group you with your friends or group. Volunteering at The Chickamauga Chase is a great community service activity for groups like churches, school organizations, clubs, etc., or for individuals who simply want to help the community and support our great Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park.
If you would like to volunteer, please complete the application located here:
All volunteers receive the same high quality race t-shirt as participants. Documentation can be provided if you need community service hours.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Ed Harris, along with his wife Carol, daughter and son-in-law Keen and Lavon Pickle, volunteered to help with the Chickamauga Chase for over 20 years. Ed passed away during 2013, but his family will still be there to help at water stop #3. We will miss Ed, and are grateful for his years of support.
Thanks to committed volunteers like these folks, you can count on a great race every year. Be sure to thank your volunteers.
